The genesis of MTG’s security experience began over 18 years ago when the practice was created. Most recently, the MTG security practice formally operated under Computer Horizons Corp and was acquired in whole by MTG in August of 2006. The acquisition included all rights and privileges associated with the practice, as well as the consulting and Project Management staff.

One of MTG’s core service offerings is strategic and enterprise Information Assurance consulting services. Our consultants are credentialed in many specialized security and IT-related disciplines and have extensive experience in managing and delivering customer-centric solutions that meet budget criteria while exceeding expectations. The MTG staff has performed hundreds of information assurance projects for a wide-range of clients in both the public and private sectors and provides the complete range of vendor-neutral consultancy services in information security, business continuity and consumer privacy and information survivability. MTG’s operations and performances include multiple Federal agencies, State, County and Local government, and a wide range of commercial and health care clientele.

A brief list of MTG’s capabilities includes Enterprise Security Architecture, Enterprise/Network Security Assessments, Auditing, Regulatory Compliance, Vulnerability Testing, Business Continuity Planning, Security Policies and Procedures, and Security Awareness Training. The MTG staff’s vast experience and knowledge includes both the theoretical and practical facets of information assurance that allows us to apply both industry’s “best practices”, as well as various legislative and regulatory requirements, such as NIST, FIPS, FISMA, DISA, OSD, DOD, GLBA, SOX and HIPAA.
