National Guard Bureau Headquarters
Morningtown Group LLC principles managed the portal development effort known as “PReCISe”. Funded by the 108th Congress, the application is designed to be the Guard's version of Army Knowledge Online (AKO). MTG performed contract diligence and review and implemented CMM level III process improvement initiatives for both the project team and the National Guard Bureau stakeholders relative to the development of a National Guard Portal using Computer Associates Clever Path.
Food & Drug Administration
Morningtown Group LLC principles provided the project lead and technical director for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Shared Services effort under OIRM (Office of Information Resource Management) and the Office of the Commissioner. Morningtown Group resources implemented quality processes and project methods to manage the consolidation and subsequent (new) design of an Information Technology Infrastructure for the FDA. This extensive billion-dollar (+) project was initiated by the Office of Management & Budget and funded by the Legislature. 10,000 government employees will eventually move to a campus located in White Oak, Maryland and the new infrastructure will service the entire Food and Drug Administration.
Morningtown managed the project and directed internal and vendor resources. The project is ongoing with the expected new design of a Data Center and Telecommunications / Net-work infrastructure that will provide voice, data, video and broadcast capabilities for the new FDA campus Data Center and International FDA offices using the Cisco AVVID VoIP solution.
Quadramed Health Care
Morningtown provided engineering services and managed a staff of 30 support engineers based in Dallas , Los Angeles and Washington DC and worked directly with the Quadramed application development team members and hospital CIO's to support the installation of applications that were developed using Intersystems Cache post –relational database. Additional accomplishments included leading an effort to create new company policies for providing support to customers and revise Service Level Agreements. Morningtown concluded this effort by moving the division to ISO 9000 compliance in an effort to improve existing customer relationships.
Bethlehem Steel Corporation
Morningtown Group LLC resources were retained on a three year contract to design and manage the installation of a 13 million dollar (Telecom-data/voice/video) fiber infrastructure. MTG managed multiple union labor forces, contractors, materials and budget. Morningtown championed the Quality Committee to bring contractors at Bethlehem Steel to ISO 9000 compliance by end of year 1997, which was accomplished.
State of Maryland Department of Transportation
The Morningtown Group LLC resources provided network planning and strategic direction to the Department of Transportation and its agencies, including Baltimore Washington Airport , The Port of Baltimore, Mass Transit, State Highways, and Tolls. Morningtown also supervised department data processing, network and communication Specialists, and coordinated the deployment of the State's Financial Information Management System (FMIS) for the Department of Transportation and its agencies.
Treasury Department
Morningtown Group LLC principles managed the analysis, procurement and implementation of Trusted Agent for the FISMA Information Security Mandate and its reporting requirements. Morningtown also provided a thorough study on Encryption Technologies for portable devices identifying those that met Federal compliancy standards and provided the Treasury with a recommendation aligned to OMB,NIST,FIPS requirements

The Morningtown Group LLC provided Security Risk Assessment efforts and subsequent reporting for the FTC.
