Victor J. Stemberger ( CEO )

Mr. Stemberger assumed his current position as Chief Executive Officer for The Morningtown Group, LLC (MTG) in July, 2006. Prior to joining MTG, Mr. Stemberger served for seven years as a Vistage Chair, where he worked with chief executives as a coach, mentor, and advisor in helping them address the most significant issues in their lives and in their businesses. During his tenure with Vistage (the world’s largest CEO membership organization), Mr. Stemberger normally worked with approximately 30 CEO’s at any one time, representing small and mid-size companies up to $500 million in size.

From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Stemberger founded and ran (as CEO) an international health products company. Under his leadership, the company quickly went from start-up to $11 million in sales, and was successfully sold to a Canadian Investment Banking firm in 1998. From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Stemberger served as the CFO and Executive Vice President for a large, national, non-profit organization with a budget in excess of $150 million. In this position, Mr. Stemberger was responsible for the financial and administrative management of 175 affiliate offices throughout the country.

Mr. Stemberger completed highly successful 22-year career with the US Army in 1990, retiring as a full Colonel. During his military career, Mr. Stemberger served two tours in Vietnam, twice being awarded the Bronze Star. He also served two tours of service in Korea, where he commanded a 2200-person telecommunications organization responsible for the local and long distance communications provided to the more than 50,000 US civilian and military persons serving there.

Mr. Stemberger is a graduate of The Ohio State University with undergraduate majors in Finance and Accounting. He holds three advanced degrees—an MA, MBA, and an MS. He has also completed the Organizational Development Certification Program from Georgetown University.

Mr. Stemberger is married with three sons and four grand-children. He and his wife live in Centreville, VA.

Mark Beckmeyer, CISSP, CBCP (VP of Security Services Division )

Mark Beckmeyer has more than 20 years of experience in information technology (IT) security and has held technical and managerial positions at all organizational levels in both the private and public sectors.

Mr. Beckmeyer is Vice President of Morningtown Group LLC Security Division and is managing a staff of technical consultants who provide a variety of IT security-consulting services to the healthcare industry. These services include risk assessments and gap analyses to assist organizations in complying with the standards proscribed under HIPAA, JCAHO, GLBA, SOX and other Federal, State and local regulations. Mr. Beckmeyer has overall responsibilities for delivery of work product and business development. The work products include: security assessments, e.g., risk analyses (RA) and threat and vulnerability assessments (TVA); vulnerability/penetration testing; HIPAA/JCAHO compliance assessments; cost-benefit analysis for safeguard recommendations; security awareness and training classes; IT security policy and procedure development; and a variety of contingency planning/business resumption planning services, e.g., business impact analysis, recovery strategies, plan development, training and testing. Prior to joining the Morningtown Group LLC, Mr. Beckmeyer was Vice President with the Netplex Group and managed the IT security-consulting group.

Mr. Beckmeyer has managed and actively participated in a multitude of healthcare IT security consulting projects for such clients as Chester County, PA, many small rural hospitals under the endorsement of the North Carolina and South Carolina Hospital Associations, Alverno Information Services, a subsidiary of Catholic Health Midwest (Sisters of Saint Francis Health Services), Baystate Health System, Alegent Health, American Healthways and numerous hospitals located throughout the United States. Mr. Beckmeyer has also worked for other healthcare-related industries as Contract Research Organizations, e.g., Quintiles Transnational, Duke Clinical Research Institute, Insurance Companies, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, State Farm, National Life of Vermont. Other clients for whom Mr. Beckmeyer has provided IT security consulting include a U.S. stock exchange; the world’s largest Internet service provider; insurance, publishing, and finance organizations. Mr. Beckmeyer has also served as an instructor on a numerous IT security-related topics for the MIS Training Institute. His public sector experience includes the performance of security assessments for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, County of Los Angeles, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Federal Telecommunications System 2000, U.S. Army, Federal Communications Commission, and the City of White Plains, New York.

Mr. Beckmeyer also has extensive experience in disaster recovery planning (DRP)/business resumption planning (BRP) services that includes performing business impact analysis, developing backup requirements, recommending recovery strategies, developing the disaster recovery/business resumption plans, developing test strategies and plans, and conducting training and testing. This experience includes the development of DRP’s/BRP’s for multiple sites of a pharmaceutical and biotechnology contract research organizations, multitude of hospitals and other healthcare-related organizations, technology solutions provider and distributor, telecommunications, textbook publishing company, professional association, defense contractors, and the world’s largest Internet service provider. Mr. Beckmeyer’s DRP/BRP public sector experience includes the Oregon State Lottery, Veterans Benefits Administration, U.S. Army, a Federal law enforcement agency, and Department of Agriculture.

Mr. Beckmeyer is also responsible for performing quality assurance activities that include technical writing, editing and graphics support. Mr. Beckmeyer provides support in business development and sales staff in all pre-sales activities including sales calls, proposal writing, and forecasting. He participates in all marketing efforts, including collateral design and writing and conference exhibitions.

A graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelors degree, Mr. Beckmeyer also holds a Masters degree in Security Management from the George Washington University. Mr. Beckmeyer is a Certified Information System Security Professional and Certified Business Continuity Professional.
